About Us

Planting Days creates outdoor standing, balcony hanging, and indoor planter boxes for the senior and urban community. Many of our senior family and friends have shared with us their love of gardening. However, many have had to downsize to senior living communities, apartments, condos, townhouses and nursing homes which no longer include the spaces needed to plant their favorite flowers, fruits or vegetables. These dwellings rarely provide the ideal garden spaces and we heard in their voices how much gardening means to them. Their stories inspired us to create a service that will give them back this pleasure. From Nashville, TN, we moved to Richmond, VA in December 2019 with a goal to help seniors reconnect with this joyous activity. We are very proud to give you “Planting Days”.
